Violent Femmes’ ‘Add It Up (1981-1993)’ To Be Reissued On Vinyl

Violent Femmes have announced that they will be releasing Add It up (1981-1993), a compilation of their greatest hits, on vinyl on May 21, via Craft Recordings.

The band, celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, also announced that the 23-track album will be available on digital storefronts and streaming services on the same day.

The Add It up (1981-1993) compilation consists of songs from the band’s first five albums and also includes some big hits such as “Blister in the Sun,” “American Music,” and “Gone Daddy Gone.”

The compilation also contains Violent Femmes’ energetic live performances, featuring some live recordings including “Kiss Off,” “Vancouver” and “Lies.” There are also demos, B-sides, rarities, and voice recordings featured on the 2-LP set.

The song “Add It Up” featured on the band’s debut album Violent Femmes, which was certified Platinum by the RIAA.
