Adele has returned from her Christmas break to release a teaser from her next music video for the single, Oh My God.

The Easy On Me singer shared a new Twitter post on Thursday to announce that the visuals for her new track will arrive on January 12.

It included a 15-second snippet of the Oh My God video, which begins with the haunting opening notes of the song as the camera pans across a black space before landing on Adele. The singer stands in front of a halo as the lights eventually come up to reveal her wearing a glamorous gown with a small poncho and long gloves.

She captioned the post: ‘Rested and Re-Set! Feeling ready for 2022, there’s so much coming, I’m excited for you all to see it x.’

Oh My God is the second single to be lifted off Adele’s latest album 30, following the chart-topping success of the lead song Easy On Me.

Adele, 33, released her comeback album in November and, rather unsurprisingly, it completely dominated the year in sales in just a few weeks, becoming the UK’s biggest selling album of 2021.

In just six weeks, 30 managed to sell a staggering 600,000 copies in the UK alone while also enjoying several weeks at number one on the album chart. According to the Official Charts, nearly 450k of those units were physical sales, while 53k were counted as downloads.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the record shifted over one million copies in the US according to Billboard.

Her fourth album, 30 sees Adele open up about her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki and features heartbreaking voice notes of her explaining her personal struggles to their nine-year-old son Angelo.

Fans in the US will have the pleasure of being able to hear Adele perform the album live for the first time as she will embark on a four-month Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from January 21.

The Grammy-winning singer will headline BST Hyde Park in London this July but other tour dates for the UK and elsewhere in the world are yet to be announced.
