Amanda Holden has revealed a kind gesture she received from an NHS nurse after she suffered a horrific stillbirth back in 2011.
The Britain's Got Talent star became emotional whilst presenting Heart Radio on Wednesday morning (12 May) when she paid tribute to the nurses who looked after her when she lost her son Theo.
Amanda was left heartbroken in 2011 when she noticed her baby had stopped kicking and a scan confirmed the awful news that her baby boy died at seven months in the womb.
The TV presenter had then chosen to have a caesarean at West Minister University Hospital to deliver her stillborn child.
Now Amanda has paid tribute to the NHS staff who cared for her in her time of need on International Nurses Day 2021 – live on air.
Speaking to listeners on her Heart breakfast Show with Jamie Theakston, Amanda started by saying: "I personally would love to thank the nurses…
"I know I talk about this a lot. And I never know whether I talk too much about it.

"But obviously, when we lost our son Theo to a still birth the hospital where I was looked after was unbelievable."
Amanda then named the nurses who helped care for her – Jacki Nash, Pippa Nightingale and Natalie Carter.
The presenter became tearful as she said: "And when I came out of a coma there was a nurse – who I never knew the name of – who brushed my tangled, matted hair from spending so much time lying down.

"Who fed me, washed me and put me in a dressing gown so that when my family came to see me they wouldn't be scared of me looking like Stig of the Dump."
She continued: "So whoever that was I don't know who you are, I will be forever grateful."
Holden also took to Twitter to share her thanks to the NHS nurses who helped her, posting the video clip from her radio show.
Along with the touching video, she tweeted: "Thank you to my circle of trust this #InternationalNursesDay. The love, care and skills that nurses give selflessly every day are soooo appreciated by us all.
"Personally my family and I owe you so much."
