Amanda Holden unwittingly caused a bust-up between ex-England rugby star James Haskell and his wife Chloe Madeley.
The hunk appeared on an episode of A League Of Their Own alongside the BGT judge a few years ago.
James and Chloe had only been dating for a month at the time.
But on the Sky show, he told Amanda he was “single” and the pair enjoyed some flirty banter on screen together.
However when the programme eventually aired some months later it caused a huge row between the couple who by then had become a firm item.
In his new book Ruck Me, he reveals: “Amanda took a shine to me as I was wearing a wife beater and was in good shape at the time.
“But when it aired eight months later, Chloe hit the roof saying I had embarrassed her.
“She didn’t forgive me as quickly as you might have thought.
“She just felt a bit disrespected because I was overly flirty with an attractive woman on TV and made out I was single when we’d been dating a month.
“I did try to explain it was TV and was meant as a joke. But I was in the doghouse afterwards. I did explain to Chloe – I’ll pretty much joke about anything just to get a laugh.”
It comes after former I'm A Celebrity contestant James opened up about his dedication to pleasing his wife in the bedroom.
He told The Sun that he "approaches sex like a competitive sport."
“I end up taking everything very seriously, he explained.
"But I mean you want to be good at sex don’t you? I'm not sure I'm very good at it, but I'm having a good go at trying to be better.
"There's a lot of people out there having a lot of bad sex. I want to improve on it."
The sportsman has written openly about his relationship in his book Ruck Me, a follow up to his 2020 book What A Flanker.
James and 34-year-old personal trainer Chloe married back in 2018 and she is the daughter of legendary TV legendary duo Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.
