She's best known for hosting BBC Breakfast in the early mornings from Thursday to Saturday.

But when Naga Munchetty, 47, isn't presenting TV links from the famous red sofa, she loves to keep up an active lifestyle.

It's well known that the beautiful BBC star is an avid golfer, but away from the driving range she enjoys hitting the gym to work up a sweat.

And sometimes her lucky fans on social media get to see her stunning workout snaps after she's finished her sessions.

Naga took to Instagram on Tuesday morning (September 27) after going for an early morning run to let off some endorphins before heading off to the Labour conference for her BBC 5 Live radio show.

The gym-honed broadcaster was all smiles as she held up the camera to snap a sweaty selfie in her active wear.

She told fans she needed to "let off some steam" with the cardio session and felt "good" for it afterwards.

It comes after Naga was floored by Lewis Capaldi's cheeky sex remark on Saturday's edition of the hit breakfast show.

The Scottish singer joined the sofa to discuss his new single, Forget Me, but the interview descended into chaos.

Lewis had just complimented Naga's co-host Charlie Stayt when Naga jokingly asked the pair: "Would you like a room?"

But Lewis thought she meant something rather rude and floored the hosts when he responded "I thought you said rim."

Naga burst out laughing before she moved on with the show and added: "We're going to have a little word with Lewis."
