Naga Munchetty shared a powerful message on violence against women – admitting she can "only imagine" the number of women affected by abusive situations.
The BBC Breakfast presenter took to Twitter to speak out about the harrowing issue in front of her 267k followers.
The broadcaster quote-tweeted a post by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, which raised awareness of violence against women.
The informative video showed a young woman being harassed by a young man, before the clip cuts to the inner thoughts of the man's friend who can't decide whether or not to help the woman.
Addressing his 3.2 million followers, the politician wrote: "Male violence against women and girls starts with words.
"If you see it happening, have a word with yourself—then your mates.
"#HaveAWord."
Naga replied to the tweet, explaining she could only imagine how many women had suffered experience like that depicted in the video.
She wrote: "I can only imagine the number of women who have been in this situation before."
The BBC star added:"#speakup."
Fans flocked to talk about the clip in the comments, with some feeling emotional about the topic.

Sadiq Khan has been serving as Mayor of London since 2016, having previously been an MP for Tooting from 2005 until 2016.
Munchetty joined the BBC in 2008, and normally hosts BBC Breakfast on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturday alongside her co-host Charlie Stayt.
However, she's also a radio host on her Radio 5 programme, which runs 10am to 1pm on Mondays to Wednesdays.
