Deborah James has explained to Instagram followers that she is "trying to find the diamond moments in the rough" as she continues her end-of-life care.
The podcaster tragically revealed in May that there was no more that could be done to treat her stage four cancer as she returned home to be with family.
With her harrowing and touching story reaching the hearts of many, Deborah went on to raise over £6.5 million for Cancer Research and was awarded a damehood by the Queen for her tireless efforts.
The You, Me And The Big C host has already explained that doctors have no idea at this stage how long she has left to live and therefore Deborah is taking each day as it comes – enjoying some of the many things that we all take for granted.
Having relocated to her parents family estate in Surrey the Bowelbabe hero took some time out to enjoy a meal out.
It is rare for Deborah to leave her lavish country estate but she instead opted for a change of scenery to bring in the weekend while appreciating the feels of the warm weather on her skin.
The mum-of-two took to Instagram with a happy snap of herself tucking into what looked like a delicious and nutritious meal outside in a beautiful setting.
She penned: "Happy Friday! Feeling grateful to be able to enjoy another moment of sunshine on my face, and food that makes me smile!” she wrote.
"Just trying to find the diamond moments in the rough – but when you look hard enough you realise they can still be there! Thanks as always for your amazing messages and love. Have a good one."
Holding a cocktail in one hand, the star who was recently presented a damehood by Prince William looked effortless glam as she smiled away while wearing a fabulous floral dress from her own In The Style collection – which is raising further funds in support of Cancer Research UK.
Recently, on an episode of Lorraine, Deborah explained that she felt totally "blessed" to have already lived beyond doctors expectations.
She told the Scottish host: "I'm taking life day by day and just continuing to feel blessed to have another day knowing that my time is limited.
"At the same time, if truth be told, I’ve already outlived, yet again, what I was told when I was sent home from the hospital."
The podcaster went on to add: "Even I’m a bit surprised. But I think it’s having that sense of purpose, getting involved, continuing with the campaigning which is keeping me going."
