Former Big Brother favourite Glyn Wise has shared an insight into his wild night at G-A-Y with pole-dancing Adele.
The 34-year-old, who blasted onto our screens in 2006 aged 18 wearing lifeguard shorts when he entered the Big Brother house, enjoyed a wild night out at Heaven nightclub in Charing Cross alongside superstar Adele.
The Welshman admitted to the MailOnline that he mistook the Easy On Me singer, 33, for Kylie Minogue, 53.
He said: “I had never seen Adele in the flesh before, but I mistook her for Kylie Minogue. This is nothing new as I once spent the whole day with Mutya from Sugababes thinking she was Tracy Beaker from kid's TV!”
Recalling the moment the penny dropped that an A-lister was in the building, Glyn disclosed: “I had just been to athletics training. Me and some of the lads decided to go to Heaven. I was dancing and enjoying the music then all of a sudden everyone got their phone cameras out.”
Explaining how he knew Cheryl Hole from RuPaul's Drag Race, who appeared on stage alongside the BRIT winning star, Glyn said: “I messaged to say I was there but didn't want to go to VIP because everyone was so well dressed and I was in a long blue tracksuit with white socks and trainers.
“Not the best look to introduce yourself to a world wide superstar! Saying that, I introduced myself to the UK in lifeguard shorts entering Big Brother. Maybe I'm just a walking fashion disaster!”
Sporting a shaved head and smart shirt for the outing, along with his permanent cross necklace, Glyn was all smiles as he filmed himself dancing and smiling along to the drag queens on stage.
Glyn, who has just moved to London for training to become a priest for the Christian church, recalled that the 12-time BRIT Award winner was “really enjoying the music” and “dancing and swinging her hair to every beat.”
Adele arrived at G-A-Y on at 12:30am, half an hour before the start of Porn Idol, which was set up originally as a parody of Pop Idol, but instead of singing, party goers strip.
Jeremy, who is the owner of G-A-Y and Heaven, told MailOnline he was in disbelief when Adele arrived at the venue, hung out with the night's performing drag queens, and even came on stage to judge the competition – before pole dancing herself.
He said: “Someone turned up at the front door and said: ‘Adele is coming, her car is pulling up around the back, is that okay?’"
