Britney Spears took a savage swipe at her parents by sharing a haunting note taken from her childhood school book.
The pop sensation, 40, discovered her old school textbook on Wednesday (March 3) afternoon where she found a questionnaire she had completed as a youngster.
In the family section of the quiz, one question asked: “Who is your hero?” which Britney answered in response: “Dad.”
The second question enquired: “Why do you consider this person to be you’re her?” which she answered: “He is brave.”
But it was the final question that left her loyal legion of fans heartbroken, as the quiz asked: “Is there anything your hero is frightened of?” which the songstress simply wrote: “Mom.”
The blonde bombshell captioned the emotional post with a lengthy post which as she gave her 39.6million followers an insight into her life growing up online.
She wrote: “This is the day I realised my mom should have scared [screaming emoji] my dad in life!
“Or possibly just attempted to care !!! Ps I’ve learned to be like her … I DON’T KNOW [shrugging emojis] that way YOUR SWEET … DADDY’S NEVER SCARED, RIGHT MA ????
“Pss when moms play their daughter lol [rose emoji] … Geez my whole life … if you look up you can see a CHILD WROTE THIS … ONLY THE CHILD KNOWS !!!! Psss and what the child said is the way it should be!!”
It comes after Britney’s conservatorship – which appointed her father to control all her finances and career – officially ended last year.
For almost 14 years, the starlet had the rights to make basic decisions about her life and her health stripped from her and placed into Jamie’s hands.
Now, the Baby One More Time singer is preparing to reveal some of her family’s darkest secrets in a $15million (£11.2m) tell-all book deal, according to Page Six.
Insiders have since revealed to Us Weekly how the hitmaker plans on “holding nothing back” in her book as she teased eager fans about the upcoming book on Instagram as she shared a snap of a typewriter with roses on the table.
She captioned the picture: “Shall I start from THE BEGINNING?”
And she isn’t the only person to share the horrors of their upbringing in the Spears household as Jamie Lynn Spears released her own book about her childhood and finding fame earlier this year.
