Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz missing as Beckhams celebrate Disney show

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz were absent from dad David’s Disney show debut, hinting at the ongoing tensions between the two famililes.

Disney+ hosted an exclusive screening to celebrate the UK Original series launch for Save our Squad with David Beckham, a new documentary centred around the former football legend.

In a photo from the premiere, David huddled around his family members: wife Victoria, sons Romeo, Cruz, and youngest Harper-Seven, as they rallied up to show their support.

However, son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola’s absence from the special event has led to reports claiming that tensions between the two families are still strong.

It comes off the back of the pair reportedly having distanced themselves from David and Victoria since getting married.

Brooklyn and Nicola even addressed their “family feud” this Halloween as they dressed up as Romeo and Juliet for a recent bash.

The two main characters from the hit Shakespeare play are iconically known for fighting for their love amid an everlasting family feud between the Montagues and the Capulets.

Reports of tension between Nicola and her in-laws were first revealed before the newlyweds' star-studded wedding in April.

Nicola – the actress daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz – reportedly didn’t want her soon-to-be-mother-in-law Victoria “to be any part of the planning."

The apparent cold shoulder didn’t help the iconic Posh Spice and led to “non-stop petty drama” between the Beckhams and their son.

The Save our Squad with David Beckham Disney series sees cameras follow the Manchester United and England football legend as he returns to his East London club to mentor an under-14s team who face relegation.

In the series, viewers will see David mentor the club players as he takes them on a tour of Wembley Stadium.

The show will air exclusively on Disney+ on November 9.
