Brooklyn Beckham's latest home-cooked dish has not gone down well on social media.

David and Victoria Beckham's eldest child has recently found a passion for cooking.

He often shares his recipes with his millions of followers online.

Unfortunately, Brooklyn's newest meal failed to impress some of his 14.3million Instagram followers.

On Tuesday (August 23), the 23-year-old star took to the platform to share a video montage of himself preparing a pizza from scratch.

Viewers watched him create the dough first before adding canned tomatoes, cheese and mushrooms to the end product.

Teddy Pendergrass' It’s Time For Love played the background but unfortunately it wasn’t all positive in the comment section.

New wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham shared a series of heart-eyes emojis, while a second person simply wrote: "Just. Stop".

Someone else said: "‘Way too much crust on that dough with canned tomatoes on it."

A fourth social media user suggested: "Don’t quit your day job."

Another blasted the dish as "undercooked".

Some jumped in to defend Brooklyn, with one follower writing: "“Canned tomatoes is the way to go. I don’t know a single Italian chef that doesn’t use them."

A second person said: "He’s cooking for everyone! Ingredients not expensive and that’s a plus surely. You’d likely moan if he used expensive ingredients. The lad can’t win."

It comes after Brooklyn revealed he'd like 10 children with Nicola.

The pair met at Coachella four years ago and tied the knot together in a lavish star-studded ceremony in Palm Beach Florida in April this year.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said: "I've always wanted to be a young dad and I would love to have a family soon, but whenever my wife is ready.

"I could have like 10, but her body… it's her decision."

In a separate but recent interview with Variety, the photographer again expressed his "dream" to have his own offspring.

He told the publication: 'We would love to have a big family one day.

"We would love to have some of our own, and we would love to adopt. … It'll be so cool to … have little Peltz Beckhams running around."

However, in spite of Brooklyn seemingly encouraging the topic of conversation and airing his own willingness to have a baby, Nicola isn't exactly signing from the same hymn sheet.

She instead expressed to the same publication that having a brood anytime soon was not on her agenda.

But the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz did admit that she and Brooklyn had discussed the prospect of having a "big family" in the future and was on the same page when it came to adoption.

She explained: "We don't plan on having kids anytime in the next year.
