Caitlyn Jenner rages at the Beverly Hills Hotel after being snubbed over outfit

Caitlyn Jenner's 12.1 million Instagram followers witnessed the reality star trashing the Beverly Hills Hotel after she suffered a bad experience there.

The I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to complain that she was denied lunch at the swanky destination after arriving with a tear in her jeans.

"F*** your horrible service for not letting me have lunch with this tiny rip in my jeans," the grandmother, 72, said.

"Shame on you. Disgusting. I have been a patron for decades. No longer."

She tagged the hotel and its parent company The Dorchester Collection into the angry post.

An insider told TMZ that Jenner was "caught off guard" by the request, as she had her hair and makeup done, and her jeans were made from distressed denim rather than crudely torn.

Staff at the Beverly Hills Hotel did not enforce their 'no photos' policy when Jenner was at the establishment, the insider said, adding that she posed for photos with fans during her visit.

A spokesperson for the hotel told TMZ: "Please see our dress code policy which is stated on our website and provided to every guest when they make a reservation with us."

It reads: "At the Polo Lounge, we encourage you to dress for the occasion, so we ask that you refrain from wearing casual hats, ripped denim, crop tops, nightwear, swimwear and men’s sleeveless shirts.

"After 4pm, we do not permit shorts, flip-flops (including Birkenstocks) or sportswear (including tracksuits)."

Last month, Caitlyn appeared on Good Morning Britain via video link from her swanky Malibu home.

She chatted about Meghan Markle's interview with Ellen DeGeneres interview, in which the Duchess of Sussex pretended to be a kitten and sang a song to unsuspecting market stall holders.

Caitlyn said of the segment: "I thought she was so much more real and at peace with herself in this interview, I thought this was great for her.

"You go from obscurity to cameras on you every day, everywhere you go, you are scrutinised.

"Certainly, the media can be very tough on people and if you are not used to that it is tough to deal with, but in that interview, she was kind of herself, so good for her."
