Danny Dyer has sent his heartfelt congratulations to his daughter Dani as she gave birth to her baby on Saturday.
The 43-year-old soap star's 24-year-old daughter welcomed her newborn son into the world at the weekend, and Danny took to social media to share the joyous news with his fans.
Danny shared a sweet photograph of his grandson with his 1.3million followers on Instagram.
The picture saw Love Island star Dani holding her little on in her arms and a tender kiss on his forehead.
Danny wrote: "So my baby had a baby. F**k me we needed some joy this year.
"So proud of you @danidyerxx cannot wait to meet the little beaut."
The Mick Carter actor's rushed to leave a comment, with many of his fellow EastEnders cast-members sharing their congratulatory messages.
Tilly Keeper and Davood Ghadami both wrote 'congratulations'.
Fellow London-born actor Ray Winstone typed: "Congratulations Danny boy and lots of love to your little girl and her lovely daughter," – prompting fans to reply that Dani had actually given birth to a boy.
Dani welcomed her first baby into the world with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence on Saturday 23rd January.
She shared a snap of herself holding her newborn son as she rested after giving birth at The Portland Hospital.
She captioned the photo: "After a very long day and night finally our special little boy arrived 23/01/2021.
"Weighing 7 pound…
"We are in a complete baby bubble and enjoying every moment, can not believe he is ours, completely in love and so grateful to be his mummy…
"Sending all my love to all the other mommas to be out there in lockdown.. the best experience ever will never forget this day."
