Drake Makes Cameo in Jack Harlows Music Video for Like a Blade of Grass

The visuals, which mostly features footage from Jack’s extensive North American tour, also shows the 24-year-old playing some old-school arcade games with Celtics player Jayson Tatum.

AceShowbizJack Harlow has recruited his close pal Drake for the “Like a Blade of Grass” music video. In the newly-released visuals, the “God’s Plan” hitmaker can be seen killing time with the “Industry Baby” rapper backstage.

The clip, which mostly features footage from Jack’s extensive North American tour, shows him and the Canadian emcee having a few exchanges before the four-time Grammy winner plays ping-pong with one of their friends. The video also shows the 24-year-old playing some old-school arcade games with Celtics player Jayson Tatum.

Met you in the dark, tryna put that light on you/ Could buy you anything, let me spend some time on you,” the 24-year-old Louisville native raps. ” ‘Cause I want to, hmm/ I think I want you too, I think I want you too.”

Drake himself has previously teamed up with Jack for the latter’s single, “Churchill Downs”, which also appears on “Come Home the Kids Miss You”. The duo even filmed its music video at this year’s Kentucky Derby where they had a lot of fun together. At the event, Drizzy hilariously crashed the “First Class” rapper’s interview and admitted that he was drunk.

Jack was having a chat with an NBC Sports interviewer when Drake slowly moved into the interview. The “Tyler Herro” spitter then took a notice of Drizzy and told the interviewer, “There’s a guy next to you.” The surprised reporter excitedly welcomed the latter as he exclaimed, “Drake is in the house!”

The “One Dance” rhymer responded by stating that he was there just to “hear the conversation.” He gushed, “I just had to show up. I’m so proud of this guy.” He then playfully said that he and Jack were “drunk” before clarifying, “He’s sober. I’m drunk.”

Jack dropped “Like a Blade of Grass” ahead of his “Saturday Night Live” appearance. The hip-hop artist will do double duty on the NBC sketch show on October 29. While it will be the first time for him to host the show, it will be his second time as a musical guest.
