EastEnders icon Adam Woodyatt's divorce from estranged wife of 22 years Bev has reportedly taken a toxic turn.
It has been reported that the Ian Beale actor is not offering his former partner a "fair deal".
Negotiations between the pair are said to have become "messy".
A source told The Sun: "Despite what he’s saying publicly, she’s had to get lawyers involved to fight her corner.
"The feeling is he’s not offering Bev a fair deal."
Daily Star Online has contacted Adam' representative for a comment.
Adam and Bev tied the knot at Disney World in Florida back in 1998 and are thought to have separated in 2019.
It has been said that the former couple told their close friends about their split at some point last year.
They share two children Jessica, 27, and Samuel, 23, together.
Adam and Ben lived together in Warwickshire before their split.
The Albert Square legend is set to take a lengthy break from EastEners to star in a show.
Adam will appear Looking Good Dead in venues across the country later the year.
However, the 23-date date could be cut to just six shows due to coronavirus restrictions.
The soap star has played Walford businessman Ian since 1985 and is the longest-serving cast member.
EastEnders viewers have seen drama Ian Beale’s past catch up with him as a number of people who’s feathers he has ruffled have been suspects in his attempted murder recently.
The identity of his attempted killers were revealed as his new wife Sharon and Phil Mitchell on Christmas Day.
