Ed Sheeran downed gin in coffee cup on Celebrity Juice set, says Keith Lemon

Keith Lemon has revealed how Grammy award-winner Ed Sheeran downed gin in coffee cups on while filming Celebrity Juice.

The TV host recalled the hilarious story while he was a guest on football pundit Chris Kamara’s new podcast series for Plusnet.

Keith explained: "We had Ed Sheeran on Celebrity Juice and he looked like he was drinking cups of coffee – but it wasn’t coffee, it was gin! Did he give you a cup of coffee that weren’t coffee?

"You must have started sipping it like it was coffee and then gone like ‘this isn’t coffee’ and then soon you were drunk out of your mind and they carried you out."

The podcast launched to mark Yorkshire Day on August 1 and to celebrate Yorkshire’s love for great value and urge Brits to get more out of everyday situations.

The TV star has revealed how Brits could have a little more money in their pockets if they got over their well-known embarrassment and awkwardness.

Chris said: “People need to take a leaf out of Yorkshire’s book when it comes to getting more bang for their buck.

"Being more direct, ditching the embarrassment and speaking up for what you want but with warmth and charm has got me where I am today. It’s these inherently Yorkshire traits that were instilled in me from a young age.”

"I want to show the nation how to be more Yorkshire and to never accept anything less than great value. I loved sitting down to chat to our celebrity guests to find out situations where they have shied away from complaining or not getting what they paid for.”

To mark the occasion, Plusnet is launching its lowest-ever price for fibre broadband at just £21.95 a month for 18 months so the entire nation can enjoy great value, without having to ask for it.

Future guests on the podcast series includes TV Presenter and Sheffield lass, Charlie Webster, and singer and songwriter, Simon Webbe from boyband Blue.
