The Ellen DeGeneres Show is taking its final bow tonight, May 26, after 19 seasons.
DeGeneres first took her show to the air in 2003 and since then 3,280 episodes have tumbled out, making it one of the best-loved and most-watched talk shows in America.
Ellen is a household name and is known around the world, regularly seen hanging out with famous celebs at the very top of the A-list.
Among the super-famous faces that she counts as friends are non-other than the Sussexes – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
They, like Ellen, have homes in the ultra-swish town of Montecito, a hive of the rich and famous crawling with everyone you’d ever dream to have as a neighbour, from Oprah Winfrey to Gwyneth Paltrow.
Ellen DeGeneres’ Montecito home
Ellen DeGeneres brought her Montecito home for a reported £16.7million ($21million).
A pad in the highly desirable Montecito-Santa Barbra area, the property spans 12,000 square feet is extremely expensive and is at the top of every celebrity's wish life. Montecito itself is located on the southern California coast, just the right amount of distance north of LA to be close but not too close.
Surprisingly Ellen's latest villa has just three bedrooms, according toDirt, which also claims that Ellen copped the villa for a full $14million (£11m) less than it was originally on the market for.
DeGeneres is an avid real estate investor and is thought to regularly buy and sell properties in the US.
The house called Villa Tragara was designed and built by the director of the film Mystery Man, Kinka Usher, who made his millions through high profile TV adverts.
The house has a long driveway and a large area for cars out the front.
2.4 acres of landscaped, terraced grounds come complete with a heated pool, multiple games courts and koi ponds and a covered pergola capable of sitting 16 people for a spot of lunch in the garden.
However, this particular pad is just one of four houses she is believed to have in the desirable spot.
One of these pads popped up for sale on the market just four months after Ellen is thought to have bought it. It is said to be on the market for a whopping £11million.

Meghan Markle and Ellen DeGeneres are believed to have bonded over their shared love of dogs, meeting by chance when they visited a dog shelter in LA in 2012.
The Duchess says that Ellen is behind why she decided to take her adorable Bogart, a Labrador and German Shepherd cross, home with her.
Finding Freedom, the controversial book about the Sussexes, says "Although Meghan didn't grow up with pets, Bogs, as she called him, became the object of her devotion and in heavy rotation on her Instagram feed.
"But she credits Ellen DeGeneres as the reason she adopted the Lab mix."
Meghan is quoted as saying, "It's sort of like when Oprah tells you to do something," Meghan said. "I brought him home. Because Ellen told me to."
Ellen and Meghan are understood to have spent time together since, becoming closer over time.
In the past, an insider said: "Meghan adores Ellen and loves the fact that she and Portia are huge animal lovers.
"She said they have stayed in touch since meeting in person and have become close.
