Elvis Presley thinks the latest movie portrayal of his life painted him as too much of an "angel" and wants Donald Trump back in power, a psychic has claimed.
The King continues to enthral fans decades after his death, with the world coming together to celebrate his life on August 16 which this year, is the 45th anniversary of his death.
And to mark the occasion, we asked famous psychic medium Deborah Davies to communicate with Elvis from beyond the grave.
Deborah is a former Real Housewife of Cheshire star and has more than half a million followers across social media. She said: "Elvis may well now exist in a different world, a different dimension but he has still retained his quirky sense of humour.
"He’s pleased to see that he has 1.4 million followers on Instagram and so feels he’s still a part of his followers' lives."
With a new film about his life hitting the screens and doing brisk business, having grossed more than £207 million worldwide, Deborah says The King approved of the choice of actor Austin Butler to play him – but did have one quibble with how he was portrayed.
Asked if whether Elvis approves of the film and Butler's performance, Deborah says that his general reaction to the film is good. According to Deborah, Elvis also feels that Austin's performance was "great" and it was "never going to be an easy job for anyone."
However, The King is said to feel that more about his personal life could have been explored in the film. Deborah said: "They could have put more in there of the hidden part of his life, he feels he’s been gone long enough now to be at peace with some of the less pleasant aspects of his personality in later years."
Elvis communicated to Deborah: "They always portray me too good, I was no angel."
Deborah also says she felt some remorse from Elvis for how he acted. Deborah said: "I sense a lot of regret and sorrow for not appreciating the people who were trying to help him. At that time he was focused solely on simply surviving."
Perhaps Elvis' biggest revelation was when the chat turned to politics, however.
Elvis, who famously kept schtum about his political allegiances, was however thought to be a right-leaning performer. He had a meeting with Richard Nixon in August 1970 in an effort to help the Nixon administration with the illegal drug issue afflicting the nation at the time.
Another Republican president who also cherished Elvis was Donald Trump, who was the first commander-in-chief to bestow the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest civilian honour onto Elvis.
It turns out Trump's move may have played into the good graces of The King. Deborah said: "Elvis loves Trump. He says 'he should be back in power, he is a good man'."
Throughout Deborah's communications with Elvis, many other topics were covered, from Spotify to heatwaves and even England's Lionesses winning Euro 2022…
The tech revolution
Back in the 50s, music was listened to on vinyl records. Times may have changed with how the audience of today digests music, where streaming is king and Spotify is one of the world's biggest music streaming platforms.
What would Elvis make of this musical evolution? Deborah says Elvis is all aboard the technology train. She said: "Spirits are very aware of modern technology, they use it regularly in paranormal investigations to prove their existence and so they too move with the times.
"Elvis wishes he had been born in this era especially because it would have made it much easier to hear his music. If he had been born now his life would have been so much easier using social media to reach his audience instead of overworking himself with relentless rounds of concerts."
Lionesses' glory
One of Elvis's passions, apart from music, was sport, and in particular, football. What would The King make of the state of play of football in the 21st century, and more importantly, the Lionesses?
Deborah said: "Elvis does love sport, he also loves women, I ask about the Lionesses and sense him smiling. He’s happy for their success but much prefers the more feminine old-fashioned way of how women used to be."
Climate change
As the world grapples with heatwaves and soaring temperatures, one of the key issues facing the world today is climate change. According to Deborah, Elvis feels climate change is a grave concern.
Deborah said: "Regarding climate change, Elvis says people need to wake up, realise, if you don’t stop living a fast life you’ll kill the planet. If there is one thing he learnt from his time here, it is that we get too wrapped up in our working lives.
"Stop, appreciate the beauty of the world, care for it or you’ll lose it."
