Emily Atack has spoken candidly about her relationship with social media platforms, after being criticised on different sites for her weight over the years.
The former Inbetweeners star said that she feels as though she was able to let go of her insecurities after appearing on ITV's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! back in 2018.
Emily, 31, admitted that she found stripping down to her bikini in the jungle was a "daunting" process as she had nowhere to hide due to 24-hour filming.
Now, the Celebrity Juice panellist insists that she is confident and refuses to pay attention to the bathroom scales.
Speaking to Women's Health, Emily said: "My weight has long been criticised [on social media], so wearing a bikini in the jungle was a daunting prospect.
"But the experience forced me to rebuild my relationship with my body; because there was nowhere to hide, I had to embrace those insecurities and I returned from Australia feeling free.
"Eating out less over the past year, I've inadvertently lost a stone – but my confidence doesn't hinge on a number on the scales."
Despite being nervous to hand her makeup over to I'm A Celebrity bosses, Atack now feels that this was a positive move and now embraces her natural look.

"It turned out to be a great opportunity for me not to care about what I looked like, people watching were able to see beneath the fake tan armour and it was so heart-warming when I realised that they accepted that version of me – freckles, messy hair and all," she said.
However, while being in the public eye certainly has its perks after amassing a loyal following, Emily is also subjected to sexual harassment and criticism in her Direct Messages on sites such as Instagram and Twitter.

Speaking about the messages she receives on a daily basis, Emily said that social media is a key part of her job and believes that her messages should be a safe space.
"My relationship with social media is still tricky, the online world is a double-edged sword.
"My DMs [Direct Messages] should be a safe space, but everyone’s allowed to say what they like.
"Social media is a huge part of my job and I love reaching out to fans and get so much support back – I have every right to that relationship."
