Jesy Nelson sent her fans into a spin as she teased new music, after moving on from the backlash over her debut solo single.
The former Little Mix star came under fire last year when some people accused her of blackfishing – a type of cultural appropriation where someone tries to look black or mixed race – in the video to Boyz.
However, Jesy said she hadn't meant to cause any offence and wouldn't intentionally do anything to make herself look racially ambiguous.
The singer, 30, is now working on new music and treated her followers to a teaser in a video shared on Instagram.
Captioned "Entering planet Jesy!" the montage of clips gave the star's followers a peek behind the scenes as she worked on new music.
Jesy is seen discussing her music, singing and working in a recording studio.
In one segment she seemed to struggle to nail a line, screaming "Arrgggh!" and telling her team she'd come back to it.
The teaser has got fans counting the days until they get to hear Jesy's new stuff.
"OMG NO YOU GOT ME SO EXCITED," one person posted in the comments section, while another wrote: "OMG help."
"I cannot wait for your new music any longer GIVE IT TO USSSSS I'm too impatient," pleaded another.
One fan posted: "In 26 years I've never been so excited for something, I'm so excited for this album, it may take as long as it takes, I'll always be waiting. I know you will give us the best."
Plenty of people think the post's caption means the singer's album might be called Planet Jesy.
"Gurllllllll…….. The ALBUM IS COMING," said one fan.
"WHAT IF THE ALBUM IS CALLED PLANET JESY?" asked another.
"Please can I get a one way spaceship to Planet Jesy?" one quipped.
Jesy, 30, found fame in Little Mix but quit in 2020 after nine years, explaining that being in the girl group had taken a toll on her mental health.
