Jeff Goldblum fans are set to go wild as the Hollywood icon reprises his role as Dr Malcolm Cox in Jurassic World: Dominion.
It only seems like yesterday since Jeff told viewers that "life finds a way" and became an instant sensation with that viral shirtless moment.
However, over 27 years since the original stomped onto our screens, the franchise is set to be concluded in the latest blockbuster sequel in the series.
During the past two decades, Jeff has delighted fans both on screen and off – performing at Glastonbury, sharing stories of his royal links and being honoured with his own statue.
As Jurassic World: Dominion pounces onto our cinema screens, Daily Star shares five facts you may not know about Jeff Goldblum.
Jeff shared popcorn with Princess Diana
Jeff Goldblum recently revealed that he sat next to Princess Diana at the premiere of Jurassic Park in 1995 – and even shared popcorn with her.
While attending the premiere of the next instalment in the franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion earlier this month, Jeff spoke about Jurassic Park's Royal Premiere at the National History Museum back in the nineties.
He told Yahoo News: "We showed it to – speaking of the Jubilee, the Platinum Jubilee – we showed it to Princess Diana and we had a kind of a royal screening.
"Steven Spielberg was here, Sam Neil was here, Princess Diana was here, you know, and we showed we showed them the movie. Not standing, sitting!
"Popcorn, popcorn."
Reflecting on the moment he sat next to Princess Diana, he added: "That's all I can say.
"No, I was very much a gentleman and she was a spectacular lady."
He has a gigantic net worth
Having starred in one of the world's biggest film franchises, it is no surprise that Jeff Goldblum has amassed a huge net worth.
After making his film debut in 1974's Death Wish, Jeff's career moved onwards and upwards as he appeared in hit films including The Fly, Independence Day, The Grand Budapest Hotel and as The Grand Master in Thor: Ragnarok.
It is also reported that he was the voice of Apple's advertising campaigns in America, for products including the IMac.
As well as hosting the Disney+ series The World According to Jeff Goldblum, it is no wonder that the actor has an eye-watering estimated net worth of £40million.
Jeff once played Glastonbury
Not only is Jeff Goldblum one of the world's biggest actors, but he is also an exceptionally talented jazz pianist.
Along with releasing an album with Decca Records in 2018 called The Capitol Studios Sessions, which went to No1 in the UK and US, he also made a surprise appearance at Glastonbury the following year.
On June 30, 2019 he played a surprise set at the festival and even treated fans to a rendition of the Jurassic Park theme, sending audiences wild.
That's not all, as Jeff revealed to Classic FM that he had plans for another album in the works, which was released one year later in 2019.
Speaking about his music, he said: "Getting to do another album with the sweet, sweet, enchanted elves and sprites from Decca has me floating on air, somebody please pinch me (ow, not so hard).
"I only hope that listeners feel what I felt when we made the record – an explosive release of ecstasy. It’s amazing to let the cat a bit out of the bag here at Glastonbury in the fleshy flesh!"
He had two co-star romances
It is not only fame that Jeff has found during his career, but also romance.
In 1980, the actor married to his Silverado co-star Patricia Gaul, before the couple divorced in 1985.
Two years later, he went on to marry Hollywood icon Geena Davis, with who he starred in the sci-fi classic The Fly, Transylvania 6-5000 and Earth Girls Are Easy.
Reflecting on his first meeting with Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum described her to GQ Magazine as "gorgeously shy", adding that he thought: "I really like this woman and she’s not going to like me. How can I ever make her like me?"
The couple later hit it off and married in a spur of the moment Las Vegas ceremony, with Jeff adding: "She’s purely loving, beguiling – irresistible."
However, the couple later split in 1991, with Geena telling People at the time: "I’m sure we’re both pretty sad. We certainly had high hopes, every good intention. It’s upsetting."
Jeff has since settled down with wife and Canadian gymnast Emilie Livingston, who he married in 2014, and with who he has two children.
A statue of Jeff was built at Tower Bridge
Jurassic Park is one of the world's most famous and successful blockbuster films of all time, with countless TV series and films including Father Ted and Waynes World referencing it.
One of its moments to go viral is the famous shirtless scene, where Jeff Goldblum's Dr Malcolm Cox is lying with his shirt ripped open – inspiring countless memes and even a homage to the moment in the Lego Jurassic Park video game.
It was even referenced in 2018, when a 25 foot high statue of Jeff Goldblum was erected next to Tower Bridge in London, to celebrate Jurassic Park's 25th anniversary.
Jeff was humbled by the honour and told NME at the time that he hoped everyone had the chance to see it, saying: "It was lovely, I liked that whole statue. I don’t know what it looked like in the flesh, or in the concrete, I didn’t see it. I saw pictures of it.
"I think they took it down, but isn’t it making a tour, of some kind? Like the treasures of the tomb of King Tutankhamun?"
