AceShowbiz -G Herbo (Lil Herb) is back with a new brand music video. On Tuesday, November 8, the Machine Entertainment Group artist unleashed visuals for “It’s Something in Me”, which appears on his latest album “Survivor’s Remorse”.
The clip finds Herbo rapping on a rooftop of a New York City building. At some point, the 27-year-old emcee is joined by a group of friends while he’s spitting his braggadocious bars.
“I’ma blow that, fasho that/ I know how to tuck a thirty, don’t show that,” the hip-hop star, whose real name is Herbert Randall Wright III, rhymes in the chorus. “Rich as f**k but I’m still Herbie, you know that/ I got children, turned to a gremlin, no Kodak.”
“It’s Something in Me” is one of the tracks off Herbo’s fifth studio album, “Survivor’s Remorse”. It arrived in October as a double album, the A Side and the B Side, which features guest appearances from Jeremih, Offset, Future, Benny the Butcher, Gunna, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Young Thug, Conway the Machine and Kodak Black. His two sons Essex and Yosohn also appear on the album.
Herbo dropped the project five months after he and his partner Taina Williams welcomed their second child together. When sharing the baby news, the couple unleashed some family photos on Instagram.
In the snaps, the rapper was seen cradling their son Essex while sitting on the stairs. The model, on the other hand, was holding their newborn. “Emmy Love Wright [white heart emoji] May 17, 2022,” so read the accompaniment of the post. The pair went on to note that the baby was born weighing 7 lbs., 5 oz, and measured 19.5 inches.
