Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has almost raked in a whopping £7.5million during the last two year, reports claim.
The 35 year old reportedly earned £3.9million last year, which was an increase from £3.5million the year before.
Emilia, who is well known to TV viewers for playing the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen in the fantasy series is believed to have accumulated the fee from her performing arts company Scenic Root, which was founded in 2014.
Although the actress has not had any notable roles in the last two years, her business, in which she is listed as sole director appears to be doing very well.
Emilia's last movie role was starring in Last Christmas in 2019, the same year Game of Thrones came to an end.
At the height of her career in the hit dragon show, the London-born star made around £170,000 per episode.
However she was also named the face of Dior's Rose des Vents jewellery collection in November 2015.
In 2019, after revealing she had suffered with brain aneurysms she suffered in 2011 and 2013, Emilia launched her own charity called SameYou, which aims to support young people who have suffered brain injuries while combatting the stigma that surrounds it.
Talking to the Observer about her condition while filming Game of Thrones, Emilia said it gave her another perspective she would never initially have.
She explained: "I definitely think it's a good thing. Having a brain haemorrhage that coincided precisely with the beginning of my career and the beginning of a show that became something quite meaty, it gave me a perspective that I wouldn't have otherwise."
"I'm quite a resilient human being, so a parent dying and brain haemorrhages coinciding with success and people following you in the street and getting stalkers—you're just like, 'Well, let's try and make something sensible of it.'"
Despite her hiatus from film and television, Emilia will be returning to screens for a Marvel spin-off miniseries, Secret Invasion.
The upcoming American television miniseries created by Kyle Bradstreet will air on Disney+ and will star well known actors Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle and British star Martin Freeman.
