Gemma Collins has put herself forward to be Britain's next Prime Minister after Liz Truss' shock resignation.
It's no secret that the job of PM is currently up for grabs as Liz Truss announced she was stepping down as PM on Thursday afternoon (October 20), making her the shortest serving PM in history.
It marked a momentous victory for the Daily Star's lettuce, which managed to outlast the Tory leader at the end of her 44 days in office and became a viral sensation in the process.

But it seems Gemma now has her eyes firmly fixed on the door of Number 10 Downing Street, because she's just thrown her hat in the ring.
The much loved reality star even has her own sparkling GC Manifesto to help rally the support of the nation and secure the top job.
The former TOWIE star jokingly put her bid in for the job on Friday in a hilarious video on Instagram, where told her 2.2m followers she would make an "amazing" PM.
Gemma, 41, could be seen standing in front of a fake Downing Street in a bright pink top and a glowing face full of makeup.

Gemma looked glam as ever for her 'campaign' as she let her lush blonde locks flow freely onto her shoulders in curly tresses.
She urged her millions of fans to start a petition to help her into Downing Street as she captioned her clip: "ITS TIME ………. too TAKE OVER GC STYLE [peace emoji] #gcforpm we need to set up a government petition [peace emoji]."
Gemma said: "Listen, no doubt about it, I would make an amazing prime minister," before promising "eight weeks of guaranteed paid holiday per year."

The rest of her tempting manifesto included: "lunch and drinks every Friday, everything sustainable huns, at least half of your business profits need to go towards saving the animals, and a ban on plastic".
And as if that wasn't enough to win her the role, she also boasted "monthly hair extensions and fake tans for all"
She called out Liz Truss as she wrapped up the reel, jokingly telling her: "Liz Truss, I'm coming for your position hunny."

It seems the GC has plenty of support already as tons of her fans said they'd vote for her in the comments.
One wrote: "You got my vote, the hair extensions did it for me [laughing emoji]," whereas another said: "That’s my vote sorted then! GC for PM! [heart emoji]."
The GC has excelled in plenty of areas, including the business world and reality shows like Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother, but we're just not too sure how much political experience she has at this time.
