AceShowbiz –Desiigner went above and beyond for the “Bigger and Bigger” music video. In the visuals, which was released on Friday, January 20, the former Def Jam artist becomes a giant who rules New York City.
In the clip, helmed by Riveting Entertainment’s Daniel CZ, the 25-year-old is seen rapping among skyscrapers in Big Apple. At some point, he delivers his braggadocious bars while partying hard with his pals.
“Me and gang gettin’ bigger and bigger/ All around the world, me and my hitters/ Gettin’ money can’t f**k with my getters/ Yeah, yeah,” he rhymes. “Yeah, we walk in the spot and we big time/ Double R on my wrist, yeah, that’s rich time/ I be gettin’ that money, I’m big slime.”
Desiigner dropped the song on in December 2022. Of how he felt to have finally released the track, he told HotNewHipHop, “Yo! Feeling amazing… I’m happy to drop some more super s**t for y’all, for real. And just keeping it going. We supposed to have the video coming up in the next couple of days. Getting that shot, making sure it’s prepped up for y’all. Get that up, word up.”
Desiigner previously declared he was “done” with rap following the death of Takeoff. “Yo, I’m done, I’m done, I’m done,” he said while pointing at plaques commemorating his past career achievements and crying. “This version of me is done.”
However, less than a month later, the “Panda” hitmaker informed his fans that he retracted his retirement plan. “I’m not gonna stop,” he wrote in an Instagram Story. “Music is my therapy. I lost a lot of bros this year.”
“we all say things out of emotions but the truth is in, me being able to let out a good cry help me see thing’s way more clearer now,” the rap star added. “I’m excited to keep sharing the gift of music that god gave me to y’all.”
