Gladiators star talks wild parties with footballers feet licked and cheeky snog

Gladiators star Cobra has revealed all about a few wild parties which saw a footballer having his feet licked and a comedian sneak under his T-shirt to kiss his chest.

The former television personality – real name Michael Willson – has exposed the backstage antics of the classic show, which is set to return to the BBC after more than 20 years off-air.

Michael, 58, was on the first eight series and has been very vocal about his time on the show, including how he was drinking regularly and often appeared drunk on-set.

At one party, Michael claims he saw the late socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, who sadly died in 2017, kissing the feet of David Ginola.

And he said that at another event – when he turned on the Christmas lights in Manchester – the late comedian Caroline Aherne went under his T-shirt to kiss his muscular chest.

Speaking to Daily Star last year, he even revealed that one excited fan "bit his t*t" during one encounter.

However his time in the spotlight wasn't all fun and cheeky interactions.

Michael entered the drinking scene when he was introduced to it by his friend Jefferson King, who was better known as Shadow.

Shadow would drink six pints of Guinness before filming had even started.

Cobra also had some health issues after leaving the show, including one ailment that almost killed him.

He told Daily Star during an exclusive Facebook Live chat: "I’ve got loads of things wrong with me.

“But I’m struggling through and eating properly and I manage to go to the gym for physio – I’m keeping all the bits that are still working as active as I possibly can.

"My back is crumbling away, there’s a multitude of problems there so I have to try and keep my muscles strong.”

He went on: “I’ve had two new hip replacements and nearly kicked the bucket there, that wasn’t good.

“But I’m really am looking after myself now. If I get Covid, because my lungs are permanently damaged, it would not be good… especially as I’m 30 plus 28!”

Michael also had back and shoulder problems, double pneumonia, a collapsed lung and pleurisy.
