Friends star Michael Rapaport has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's rumoured Netflix reality show as a "human sleeping pill".
Earlier this week, it was reported that one of the couple's forthcoming projects with the streamer may take the form of an 'at-home' documentary series.
Filling in for Wendy Williams on her eponymously-named morning talk show in the US, Friends actor Michael Rapaport shared his own biting view.
The 52-year-old actor, who played Phoebe's fleeting love interest Gary in four episodes of the classic sitcom, slammed the Sussexes for 'leaving the Royal family to do a reality show'.
He also claimed that Meghan is the "driving" force behind their Netflix plans.
Of the rumoured series, Michael said: "This show will be a human sleeping pill.
"You need to get a life. You've left the Royal family to do a reality show. "
Referring to the couple as "Meghan and Harry Markle", Michael added: "She is driving the ship.
"I just don't understand. They were doing philanthropy, now they're doing a reality show?
"Harry went from being a real prince to an actual real housewife."
While confirming that he 'probably would watch the show', the temporary host went on to question the couple's motives and "endgame".
Michael also joked that being a reality TV star was the 'US equivalent to royalty.'
He concluded: "You guys said you didn't want attention, you didn't want to be in the limelight, but you're starting a reality TV show?"
"I just don't know what they want; what's their endgame?"
The rumoured documentary series would form one of a number of projects negotiated between Harry and Meghan's production company Archewell Productions and Netflix in a staggering $100 million deal.
While Meghan's animated series Pearl was recently canned by the streaming service in a savage axe, Harry's Heart of Invictus project is moving forward.
