The British girl group Little Mix is one of the most successful pop acts of today with a fanbase that is spread all over the world. As previously reported by The Sun, original members Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall all auditioned on “The X Factor” in the U.K. as solo artists in 2011. However, it was Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland who put them together as a group. A decision that clearly paid off, as Little Mix went on to become the first group to win the show.
Since taking home the winning title, the members of Little Mix are no longer just considered talent show winners as they have morphed themselves into chart-topping stars around the globe. According to The Official Charts, the “No More Sad Songs” hitmakers have racked up five No. 1 singles and five top 5 albums in their home country. As noted by Inquisitr, Little Mix has sold over 50 million records worldwide and their LP “Glory Days” was named the biggest album from a female group this past millennium.
In December 2020, it was revealed that Nelson had chosen to leave Little Mix. However, that hasn’t stopped the remaining three members from continuing. With a career that has been going strong for the past decade, many must wonder how much each member of Little Mix is actually worth. Keep reading to find out.
The Little Mix ladies have their share of side hustles
It goes without saying that Little Mix are financial giants. As of 2021, the BRIT Award winners are worth an estimated $32 million combined, according to Wealthy Persons. But how much have they earned individually?
As reported by the same outlet, Jade Thirlwall is the wealthiest with $9.5 million. But, why? Well, outside of the group, it appears she’s been very busy with her solo ventures. The “Break Up Song” singer released a clothing range with fashion brand Skinnydip, appeared as a guest judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK,” and became a contestant on “Great Celebrity Bake Off” in 2021, per Radio Times.
As for Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson, it is reported that they are worth an impressive $7.5 million each. Edwards became the face of food-franchise Nando’s, while Pinnock launched her own luxury swimwear line, In’A’Seashell. Nelson, who left the group in 2020, made headlines in 2021 after she was offered £1 million ($1.4 million) to have her own clothing collection with PrettyLittleThing, according to The Daily Mail. It was also reported that her departure from Little Mix sparked a “$2 million [$2.8 million] record label bidding war,” per Metro.
