Iain Lees feud with Rebekah Vardy as he accuses WAG of Im A Celebrity bullying

Broadcaster Iain Lee has claimed that Rebekah Vardy bullied him during his trip to the jungle in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Rebekah, the 40-year-old wife of England footballer Jamie Vardy, co-starred with Iain on the ITV show five years ago, which initially sparked bullying concerns while they were still on the show in 2017.

Iain, 48, took to Twitter to voice his comments about footballer’s wife, claiming she made him “f**king miserable and isolated”.

It comes as she has been promoting mental health issues, something that has particularly riled Iain up due to his alleged experience with her.

What did Iain Lee say about Rebekah Vardy?

Iain didn’t hold back his opinions on Twitter, as he shared his experience of Rebekah during their time together in the jungle.

He wrote: “Just had an interview request to talk about how Rebekah Vardy is so brave for promoting mental health…she contributed to me being f**king miserable and isolated in the jungle…so, that's a pass from me."

He later added his response to the outlet that requested the initial interview, clarifying his objections to Rebekah.

He continued: “I feel I have to explain my refusal. I don't know if you saw any of I'm A Celebrity when I was in there.

“Vardy was a bully, a liar and a manipulator. She was part of a team that targeted me and made much of my time in there miserable.

"Her first comment to me was 'I think you're a bit of a t**t'. She encouraged people not to talk to and left me isolated (apart from two camp mates who were not taken in by her)."

He went on: "When she came out of the camp she told lies about me. She bullied my sister who was staying in Australia and told her, 'In my world, men don't cry'.

"Part of me hopes your email is a ruse to get an interview from me which I think is about her bravery and they you skewer to make it about her bullying and belittleing.

"I hope the latter is correct because if you are trying to show her as a mental health ambassador, I'm afraid you couldn't be further from the truth."

What has Rebekah Vardy said about the accusations?

The star has not responded to Iain’s new comments, but she previously denied any claims of bullying back in 2017.

The WAG said at the time: “You know what, I was the one that was being the most supportive of him. A bully? I’ve never been a bully in my whole entire life.”

She even sobbed as she rejected the idea of being a “ringleader” of any bullying against Iain.

However, it isn’t the first time Iain has spoken out about his bullying claims, as in 2019 he shared his opinion on talkRADIO.

He said: "I didn't get on with Rebekah [in the jungle]. I found her very dark… I got a very dark energy from her. The first thing she said to me was, 'I thought you were a f**king t**t'.

"I found her thoroughly unpleasant. It's no secret her and Jamie Lomas were my least favourite."

Daily Star has contacted Rebekah's reps for comment.
