I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Mike Tindall has a secret bar at the swanky home he shares with Zara Phillips and parties until 7am, says his rugby star mate.

Fellow rugby star Danny Care revealed Mike is “a hell of a party animal,” and the married couple enjoyed many tipples together during lockdown.

“He’s still a hell of a party animal. Him and Zara enjoy partying when they can,” he told OK! Magazine.

“I know that Mike has a secret bar in the house somewhere which he’s FaceTimed me from a few times.

"I was very jealous of that during lockdown. He’ll be bringing the party to I’m A Celeb.”

Mike opened up on his “boozy first date with his royal wife during a chat inside the main camp earlier this week.

He revealed intimate details of his first romantic outing with his wife, admitting they got totally “smashed” and bonded over their love of booze.

Speaking inside main camp, Mike told Babatúndé and Owen that he had just found out he had been dropped from a big match in Australia and went to the local pub to drown his sorrows.

The outing eventually led to him meeting his future wife.

Mike explained: “I was at the World Cup, she was out watching. I got dropped from the semi-final. I was p****d off and so I went for a beer with another guy who got dropped and a guy who was over [in Sydney].

“They’d met her before and they introduced us and then got chatting.”

Owen replied: “So if you never got dropped you never would have met her?”

Mike said: “Best decision of Clive Woodward’s life.”

Revealing more details about his first date, Mike added: “First actual date, just went out for lunch locally. And ended up being quite a boozy one.

“Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed. It was a good start.”

He went on to say the pair had been together for 18 years, before Owen joked that his longest relationship was just 6 months.

Babatúndé said of meeting his own wife: “First date, I want to say we went Nando’s. Most likely did you know… I think it was. Me and my wife we went to the same school.”
