Inside Jamie Redknapp and wife Fridas lavish first Christmas with new baby son

Jamie Redknapp's new wife Frida was in high spirits as she showed off their home which looked very much ready for the festive period ahead.

The 38-year-old Swedish model had invited a professional decorating service into their home to help with Christmas preparations – like many other celebrities have also done this year.

This Christmas will be extra special for the football pundit and his who new wife after the pair tied the knot – nearly two months ago.

It will also be the first year of celebrating becoming parents together after they welcomes their newborn son Raphael Anders into the world on November 24.

Given it's been quite a special year for the newly weds, Frida clearly wanted to go the extra mile where festive season had been concerned.

Sharing a sneak-preview of life inside their home, she took to her Instagram story to share her fabulous and professionally decorated Christmas tree by London Event Florist with her 44.7k followers.

To mark their first year as parents and husband and wife, they opted for a deep emerald green and gold colour scheme.

The tree was entirely covered with lavish ornaments including a gold birds, cinnamon sticks and glittery autumnal leaves.

Adding a touch of elegance to the room, a traditional white poinsettia plant comes into view at the end of the video.

Jamie and Frida have certainly had quite a year to remember after they announced the safe arrival of their bundle of joy last month.

Sharing an adorable compilation of Raphael's first moments, the proud mum wrote: "Our Viking has arrived.

"Feeling beyond blessed to have welcomed this precious little boy, Raphael Anders Redknapp, to our family. A big thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Chelsea Westminister Hospital."

Jamie also couldn't wait to show off his newborn as he took to his own social media to share a snap of himself with Raphael.

Alongside the image, he penned: " Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp, we’re so in love, mum is doing so well too.

We can't thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough. So excited for him to meet my boys."

Jamie co-parents his two son's Charlie, 17 and Beau, 13, with his ex wife Louise Redknapp.

Frida also shares four children three boys and one girl) with her former husband Jonathan Lourie.

After the news had broke about the arrival of Raphael, rumours began to surface that Jamie's ex-wife and former Eternal singer had been in "despair".

However, Louise who spit from Jamie in 2017 wanted to slap down any speculation that she was anything other than happy in her own life.

Setting the record straight, she penned on Instagram: "I try not to read or respond to these things but sometimes they are unavoidable. I'd really love to clarify that 'Louise' is not in despair or anything like it!!

"I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I'm having the time of my life with my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for."

She added: "I'd like to make it clear that I'm in the most positive of headspace and loving my life. Here's to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives and living their very best lives!"
