Jamie Redknapp dotes on baby son Raphael as he celebrates his first Christmas

Jamie Redknapp proved he is the ultimate doting dad as he cradled baby Raphael in an adorable festive display of affection.

The ex-Liverpool Football Club midfielder became a dad to three sons last month when his second wife Frida Andersson, who he married just three weeks before welcoming Raphael.

Jamie, 48, cuddled his son as he showcased the back of a red knitted jumper, customised with his name sewn in white cotton.

Harry Redknapp's son was dressed in a black turtleneck sweater as he rested Raphael's head on his shoulder while holding him up before planting a kiss on his head.

Alongside the snap, Jamie penned: " Happy Christmas Eve everyone. Thanks for my super cool jumper @clydo. Red is definitely his colour."

His post that has since racked up over 97,000 likes was instantly flooded with comments from fans who couldn't wait to compliment the star.

Wife Frida commented: "Cutest duo," alongside a heart emoji.

"Merry Christmas to you fam and gorgeous R J," said a second.

Before another went on to comment: "God I can’t cope with the cuteness!!"

"Merry Christmas Jamie. Can’t cope with this gorgeous photo," exclaimed a fourth.

A fifth fan went on to say: "So cute & hoping he will be a future red like his Dad."

Earlier this month, Jamie introduced his youngest child to his mum Sandra and documented the day for his social media followers.

He took to Instagram to share the beautiful moment when Sandra, 72, held baby Raphael.

The photos show doting gran Sandra cradling the little boy in her arms and then on her lap as brother Mark, 51, holds onto his hand.

Sandra, wearing a beige fleece and trousers, smiled lovingly down at the adorable infant.

Jamie captioned the sweet photos: "This makes me so happy. First time Raphael met his nanny and uncle Mark."

He announced the news of his sons birth by sharing a cute snap of him laying down to his new son.

He wrote: "Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp we're so in love, mum is doing so well too…

"We can't thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough. So excited for him to meet my boys."
