The Roc Nation founder and the DJ will perform ‘God Did’ together, which also features Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, John Legend and Fridayy, and scores three nominations at this year’s Grammys.
AceShowbiz –Jay-Z and DJ Khaled are set to hit the stage at the 2023 Grammy Awards. It was confirmed that the “Empire State of Mind” hitmaker and the record executive will perform “God Did” together at the upcoming ceremony.
The track, which also features [c=Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, John Legend and Fridayy, scores three nominations at this year’s Grammys. It is up for Song of the Year, Best Rap Song as well as Best Rap Performance.
The duo will join other previously announced performers. They include Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Steve Lacy, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Lizzo and Sam Smith with Kim Petras.
The Grammys also tapped a number of rappers for its celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary. GloRilla, Big Boi, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, DJ Drama, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Missy Elliott, Future, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmaster Melle Mel, Ice-T, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, The Lox and Method Man are scheduled perform during the segment.
Other artists include Nelly, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Rahiem, Rakim, Run-D.M.C., Salt-N-Pepa, Scarface, Spinderella, Spliff Star, Swizz Beatz, and Too $hort. The event will be directed and produced by Questlove and introduced by LL Cool J.
