Jeezy Drives His Maybach to Fenkell Ave in Visuals for 42 Dugg-Assisted Track ‘Put the Minks Down’

‘Put the Minks Down’ serves as one of the tracks off Jeezy and DJ Drama’s collaborative album, ‘SNOFALL’, which also features guest appearances from the likes of Lil Durk and EST Gee.

AceShowbiz -Jeezy (Young Jeezy)’s music video for 42 Dugg-assisted track “Put the Minks Down” is finally out. Arriving on Tuesday, October 25, the visuals finds the “Soul Survivor” spitter driving his Maybach through Fenkell Ave, Detroit.

In the Payroll Giovanni-directed clip, the 45-year-old South Carolina emcee mobs with locals as he delivers his bars. “Count a million with my eyes closed/ And I can whip a whole one with a blindfold,” he raps. “And I can get ’em to you n***a next day eh/ Where you at n***a next day yeah.”

42 Dugg, meanwhile, lends his vocal in Verse 1. “Put the minks down/ Nah, for real summer time, all the freaks out/ Nottingham still slappin’ off of three fines/ Young n***a probably beat the feds three times,” the 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dion Marquise Haye, rhymes.

“Put the Minks Down” serves as one of the tracks off Jeezy and DJ Drama‘s collaborative album, “SNOFALL”. Dropped on Friday, October 21, the project consists of 17 songs in total. Aside from 42 Dugg, the likes of Lil Durk and EST Gee make guest appearances on the album.

It might be surprising for fans to see Jeezy working together with DJ Drama since they had some issues in the past. About how he repaired his relationship with the DJ and record executive, the husband of Jeannie Mai explained on “The Breakfast Club”, “The beef was Dram had somebody managing him.”

“But [the person] was trying to be an artist too. He got in Drama’s ear about a lot of things and started to build this toxic environment of ‘he said, she said’ and Dram decided to go with them,” Jeezy further elaborated. “Something happened at club, I can’t really say. It got really bad over time.”
