Joey Bada$$, Meechy Darko and Nyck Caution really wasn't a night to miss for anyone vaguely into New York hip-hop.
It had been one hell of a wait to have Joey back on this side of the pond and bringing with him two stars in their own right, shows how much he valued fans' patience.
The 1999-2000 tour setlist, named after his debut and most recent projects, was everything I could have wanted on my third time catching the 27-year-old live.

All the chilled 90s vibe hip-hop songs that elevated Joey to stardom and his biggest hits since, not least the somewhat controversially mainstream Devastated which after three plays, closed the show.
Never before have I seen artists share such disappointment with the energy of the crowd in front of them.
Now I'm not saying me being seated was anything to do with it… but those in the stalls really weren't impressing Nyck or Meechy.
The pair in my opinion are the ultimate warm-up acts with up-beat passionate and largely aggressive songs yet that wasn't exactly reflected by the amount of mosh pits they were expecting.
Is it a case that Badmon's fans have grown up with him to the point they they prefer to enjoy concerts a tad more maturely, should I say?
Nyck took matters into his own hands my climbing into the middle of the biggest mosh pit on the night and spitting into the mic all the way until he was crowd surfed back to the stage.
Meechy, who performed to an intimate but rampant crowd at Colours in Hoxton a couple of months earlier, was less carrot and more stick which is exactly what I'd expect.
"I don't know if y'all think you're better than me but I'm about to tell Joey this crowd ain't sh*t," Meechy fumed.
I don't recall the headline act appearing on stage so late on in the night so I feared, Joey's set would be cut short. Thank goodness I was wrong as the Raising Kanan actor gave his all deep into the night.
Excitement rippling through the crowd undoubtedly cranked up a notch as the man they came to see was finally rapping before their eyes.
But even Joey couldn't help commenting on the energy lacking before drumming up further noise.
Spotting us in stalls obeying orders to stay seated, the Paco Rabanne and Calvin Klein ambassador demanded we 'showed something' and got on our feet.

Perhaps it was a reminder that he was performing to another London crowd the next day, that gave the crowd a much needed kick into gear because it felt like the final half hour was little short of legendary.
In Joey's comedic British accent I can agree with him that it was indeed a "madness".
