Katie Price thinks celebrity makes her invincible as 6th driving ban lifted

Katie Price has been accused of behaving like she’s “invincible” following the end of her latest driving ban.

The former model got her licence back only a few days ago following the completion of her sixth ban from the road.

That two-year ban had been reduced by 24 weeks after the TV celeb completed a drink-drive rehabilitation course.

It prompted an insider to tell the Mirror: "Katie feels relieved to finally have her licence back.

“She feels as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders.”

The source added: "Katie always seems to get herself in trouble. Because of her celebrity status she thinks she’s invincible."

As if to back up those concerns, she already stands accused of driving a car that’s untaxed and uninsured – just days after getting her licence back.

The 44-year-old was snapped on Monday (April 17) driving an SUV owned by her fiancé’s family.

But the Infiniti – which is worth £14,995 – shows up on the national database as being uninsured and untaxed.

It was last registered in March 2016 when it was bought by a business registered to a member of fiancé Carl Woods's family, reports the Mirror.

In 2021, Katie was involved in a one-car crash when she flipped her Beemer on a country road near her Sussex home.

She tested positive for booze and cocaine, and in court she admitted a string of driving offences.

During sentencing, the former I'm A Celebrity star swerved jail over those offences in a move that even the judge branded lucky.

The mum-of-five was given a 16-week prison sentence at Crawley Magistrates' Court, but District Judge Amanda Kelly said her hands were tied and she had to suspend the punishment, “even though you deserve to spend Christmas behind bars”.

Since her latest ban was completed a few days, she’s been behind the wheel again, and has now been pictured driving herself home from her community service in a charity shop.

That 170 hours of unpaid work was imposed last year after she breached a restraining order by sending abusive messages to her ex-husband Kieran Hayler about his fiancée Michelle Penticost.

Katie's representative has been contacted for comment.
