Katie Price's ex husband Kieran Hayler is reported to have been left furious after the glamour model seemingly compared him to Jimmy Savile in a recent Instagram post.

The reality star, 43, had watched the Netflix documentary about the deceased paedophile and took to her platform to add further commentary.

Sharing a screenshot of the two-part series, she penned: "Omg I watched this and can't believe what this man and brought back memories," with a horrified emoji face.

The mum-of-five then shared an historic article that Kieran would be help police with their line of enquiry regarding rape allegations.

Along with the article, she penned: "Who is going to fix this?"

According to the Sun, this prompted a response from Kieran's legal team, requesting for Katie to remove the image and statement.

A rep for the celebrity personal trainer told the publication: "Kieran Hayler is seeking legal action in regards to the social media post made by Katie Price.

"For a woman that profusely professes to advocate mental health and anti trolling this is again somewhat contrary to 'the values' Miss Price claims to champion."

A separate source also told the publication: "Kieran sent Katie and her team a legal letter telling her to take the posts down as soon as they saw them. It's horrifying for Kieran and his family."

The Sun reported in January that detectives wanted to talk to Hayler over rape allegations from 2016.

In 2016, Kieran and Katie were very much still a married couple but parted ways two years later with their divorce coming to a close last year.

Sussex Police confirmed at the time: "We are investigating a report that in 2016 a woman was raped by an adult male known to her at a location in West Sussex.

"No arrest has been made. The woman is receiving support from specially trained officers."

A spokesman for Hayler said at the time: "Kieran is very saddened by these false allegations, and is happy to fully assist the police and co-operate fully to ensure he is quickly vindicated.

"But he is keen not to get into a public dispute and would prefer to rectify this matter with the police as quickly and calmly as possible, and continue to focus on his own life and future."
