What has Liam Gallagher said about his arthritis?
Gallagher typically hasn’t sugar-coated his condition. In a recent interview with MoJo magazine he laid his cards on the table.
He bluntly said: "My hips are f****d, I've got arthritis, bad.
“I went to get it checked out and my bones are mashed up. The lady was going, 'Oh, you might need a hip operation, a replacement.'"
He then admitted to not wanting an operation because he was trying to avoid the “stigma” surrounding it.
He continued: "I think I'd rather just be in pain. Which is ridiculous, obviously. I know that.
“Just get them fixed. But it's the stigma, saying you've had your hips replaced. What's next?"
Instead of having the operation, he said: “I’d rather be in a wheelchair”.

The surgery would involve replacing the damaged hip joint with an artificial joint or implant and then six weeks of recovery.
In summary, Liam said: "I'm not afraid of death, whatever it is. Why should you be? It's going to happen anyway. I'm going to just keep doing what I do until I die."
