Love Island’s Adam FaceTimed huge Hollywood stars – with no idea who they were

Love Island bombshell Adam Collard recently revealed he had a special FaceTime call with Hollywood A-listers and fans of the show, Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne, after his second stint in the Majorcan villa.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Adam explained how the call was set up by Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore during a break of the reunion episode.

He said: "So we're sitting there during the Aftersun Reunion and Laura Whitmore comes up to us, Paige was in the toilet. Laura was like, 'My friends want to meet you and Paige, will you FaceTime them?', so I was like, 'Yeah, yeah' and I FaceTimed them."

Adam faced a slight blunder, confessing he couldn't tell who was who during the call until the very end due to connection issues.

"They looked like they were in Mexico or Bali or somewhere like that, the connection was really bad and they were getting cut off," he explained to his pal and guest host Mickey Seers.

Adam went on to describe the moment he realised who was on the other end of the call as a 'penny-drop'.

He said: "Just before they cut off Laura was just ready to end the call and the penny dropped – it was Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne.'

The lighthearted news comes after Adam and Paige Thorne were swarmed and attacked by a group of thugs at a bar in Newcastle.

In footage obtained by the Mail Online, Adam is seen desperately protecting Paige amid the fracas following what started off as a calm night.

The pair and Adam's pal Mickey were shown to have moved on and enjoyed the rest of their night according to an Instagram story uploaded by Adam of Paige and Mickey dancing in a booth.

Adam captioned the post: "The OG bestie and the wife is it not."

After finishing in fifth place on Love Island, Adam and Paige are still going strong and have since shut down split rumours in an interview with Ranvir Singh on Lorraine.
