Former Love Island star Malin Andersson has shared the first picture of her baby girl after she gave birth almost a month ago.
The body-positive influencer posted a photo with her daughter in her arms as she lovingly looked at her small bundle of joy and shared details from the birth.
As she shared the photo in front of her 743,000 Instagram followers, with her daughter wrapped in a striped baby grow, Malin wrote: "Meet Xaya, 28.01.22.
"Me and Jared have been in the most beautiful, surreal baby bubble ad so I took a month out to just focus on our family.
"I ended up having an emergency c-section with her, they took her out of the same scar Consy came from… that was a bittersweet experience for me which I needed to take in after.
"I can't even describe the amount of love she has given us, and how it feels to be a mum again – but to a healthy baby. I look at her and I have to pinch myself."
Malin added that her daughter was the spitting image of her dad, adding that she's jealous" of her daughter's hair.
She continued: "Thank you for all of your messages. It's been overwhelming. You guys have really followed my journey and I'm in awe of all your support. We are sending you all so much love."
Malin was immediately showered with support and loving messages from her friends and fans, with one user writing: "Aww congratulations. So happy for you."
Another said: "So unbelievably happy for you and Jared, congratulations to your beautiful family."
A third encouraged her to make the most of the downtime, writing: "Enjoy the bubble! It's so precious."
Malin was overjoyed to be expecting again after she faced tragedy when her baby daughter Consy passed away just four weeks after she was born in December 2018.
In April 2021, Malin announced that she was pregnant again but had tragically suffered a miscarriage.
In August 2021, she announced that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jared and continued to share regular updates with her followers in the months that followed.
The star has been inundated with support since falling pregnant with her baby girl Xaya and fans have continued to shower her with love since the birth.
