Maura Higgins debuts blonde hair as fans compare her to Kendall Jenner

Maura Higgins has stepped out with a striking new hairstyle, and her fans are gushing over how incredible she looks – with one even comparing her to Kendall Jenner.

Known for her brunette locks and dark features, Maura has never braved a lighter look – apart from wigs of course.

But now the former Love Island star has taken a tiny step over to the blonde side, and we couldn't be more obsessed with her new look.

Attending the 2022 Gossie Awards in Dublin, Maura sported an ultra chic hair-do which was swept up and off of her face – bar a few wispy strands to frame it and her chic fringe too.

She debuted her new 'do with a stunning floor-length backless gown that had diamonté detailing.

The Irish bombshell didn't just wow her fans with her up-do, but they were totally taken aback by her lighter tresses.

She appeared to have a hint of balayage in her hair, which meant that her fringe and the ends of her hair look lighter and visibly blonde.

One even penned below the the Instagram post: "Thought you were Kendall Jenner at first!"

Taking to the photo-sharing platform to debut her look and gush over her two gongs from the Gossie's, Maura penned: "Incredible night last night @goss.ie.

"I can’t believe I’m taking home two awards…

"Thank you so much to everyone who voted," she swooned in the caption.

Maura then added: "Also a massive Thank you to @celiakritharioti for designing my dream dress."

The former Love Island star swept up two gongs – one for Most Stylish Lady and the other for Best Female Presenter.

Commenting on her lighter hair and glam new look, fans and friends flocked to the comments section.

Love Island co-star and pal Molly-Mae Hague penned: "INCREDIBLE."

One fan penned: "Congratulations beautiful looking stunningly beautiful. Maura that dress is gorgeous."

While a second added: "Congratulations your such a beautiful person and such a hard worker."
