Meek Mill Blasts Atlantic Records for Ruining His Relationship With Rick Ross and Roddy Ricch

When lashing out at the label on social media, the ‘Going Bad’ rapper urges other artists to ‘speak up and tell the truth while you winning not when you down!’

AceShowbizMeek Mill is no longer hiding the beef between him and one of his labels. Claiming that Atlantic Records has ruined his relationship with Roddy Ricch and Rick Ross, the “Going Bad” rapper publicly called out the label on Twitter.

“So look I made Atlantic records 100’s of millions and let them rape me out out Roddy a artist they came to me about in jail,” the 34-year-old first alleged in a Tuesday, February 1 tweet. “They still saying I can’t drop music until 9 months after my last album got blackballed just wrapped buildings and Nina art with talent.”

Meek went on to accuse the label of separating him and Roddy “when the millions came in from him.” He added, “Same thing they tried to do with me and rozay … it takes a long time to catch up too because most of em tied in for the love of some money …artist scared to speak up.”

“They didn’t put nothing into expensive pain and then said I can’t drop another project for 9 months at the end of my contract after I made them 100’s of millions ….. how would can anybody survive that,” Meek continued arguing. “Most rappers can’t speak because they depend on these companies ‘ I don’t.’ “

The “Sharing Locations” spitter also believes that the label is “outsmarting young black kids,” “taking advantage” and “calling it business!” He then urged other artists to “speak up and tell the truth while you winning not when you down!”

Meek has thrown shades at his label for months, prompting fans to assume that they were aimed at Rick’s Maybach Music Group. However, back in December 2021, Rick brushed off the feud rumors between the two as he believed that the jabs were directed to Atlantic Records.

“I’ma be honest, when Meek taking a jab at anybody, the only way I can assume is he’s doing that at Atlantic Records. All we ever did was get paper and it’s real easy to say a n***a name. Ain’t nothing to– you feel me?” Rick said on “The Morning Hustle” radio show. “We done been down ten years. Is he signed to Maybach Music? Yes, he is. But he’s also a boss and real bosses give other bosses opportunities to become bigger bosses.”
