Melissa McCarthy has dished on working with 'sweet' Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the Duchess of Sussex's 40×40 campaign.
Earlier this month, the Bridesmaids actress partnered with Meghan on the philanthropic initiative which sees 40 of Meghan's friends offer up 40 minutes of their time to mentor other women.
Launched on Meghan's 40th birthday, Melissa teamed up with the Royal couple to announce the project in a fun birthday video, during which Melissa wore her fanciest British attire and Prince Harry juggled.
The video received a mixed reaction, as whilst some slammed for the pair for the hilarious videos, others threw their support behind her for her latest idea.
Speaking after the initiative launched, Melissa sang her praises for the "sweet" Sussexes, who she also deemed "awfully nice".
Victoria Beckham dragged into Meghan Markle feud and forced to choose between royals
“She's [Meghan Markle] doing such an amazing thing to celebrate her 40th,” Melissa told Access Hollywood.
“I just love that she is like, 'Oh, what can I do to put some good and help some people out?' Well that is awfully nice. Then in comes Harry and he's like, ‘I can juggle’… Then he's like, 'Is it going to be weird if I stand outside and juggle?'
"I was like, ‘Weird in a way that will make me watch it five million times!’"
On how she found the experience of working with the couple and praising their decision to forego their Royal duties and move to California, Melissa added: “They were so sweet and funny.
"I just find them very inspiring. They're carving out their own lives. They're carving out their lives for their kids."
Speaking about her admiration for Meghan, the Ghostbusters star later said: “The way she wants to celebrate her 40th is by helping and empowering other women. How do you not get behind that? They don't take themselves too seriously.
“She said, ‘let's do it in a fun way and see if we can drum up more people helping more women kind of get back into the workforce’… I was so pleased to be a part of it.”
Other celebrities taking part in Meghan's 40×40 campaign include British singer Adele, legendary fashion designer Stella McCartney and US poet Adanda Gorman, who spoke at Joe Biden's inauguration.

In a message posted to the Archewell Foundation website announcing the project, Meghan wrote: "For my birthday, I have asked 40 friends, activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders to help kickoff a global effort by contributing 40 MINUTES OF MENTORSHIP to support women re-entering the workforce.
"With this time, I hope they each help someone advance a professional life on her own terms, and, I hope that they inspire countless others to give 40 minutes of their time as well."
