My 600lb Life’s star Destinee Lashaee ‘takes own life’ aged 30, family confirm

My 600lb Life's first transgender star Destinee Lashaee has died aged 30.

The TV star is thought to have taken her own life and has left her heartbroken family behind, who have confirmed the news on social media.

Destinee was the TLC reality show's first transgender star and appeared on the show in 2019.

Throughout her time on the show, she opened up about her struggle with weight and her ongoing battle with depression.

Her brother Wayne wrote alongside a picture of them both: "I accept you for who you are, I accept every flaw that come with you, I’m sorry you felt alone, I’m sorry you felt you had nobody else to turn to."

He added: "I’m sorry you felt you had no other option Destiny wouldn’t of wanted this, lord why keep taking my siblings away, how much can I take."

Other tributes also poured in for the TV star, with friends and fans swarming to social media to share their condolences.

Destinee's family has suffered much heartache over the years after tragically losing her brother Anthony and younger sister Destiny.
