Nick Grimshaw has quit Radio 1, it has been confirmed, bringing his 14-year tenure to an end.
According to The Mirror, Jordan North and Vick Hope will take his place on the air, with BBC bosses recruiting the radio stars as Grimmy's replacement.
The radio star, 36, reportedly told BBC bosses several weeks ago he was throwing in the towel, having enjoyed his time with the station.
A source told the publication: “Grimmy has loved every minute and done everything he ever dreamed of on Radio 1.
"It has been a really hard decision but he is looking forward to the next chapter in his life.”
Nick will reportedly announce his exit from the airwaves on Wednesday, sharing a statement during his Drivetime show.
The Mancunian presenter joined BBC Radio back in 2007, bringing his trademark wit to shows like Switch or the 10 pm to midnight slot on the air.
