Oscars 2022 winners list as Dune lands multiple gongs at star-studded event

The Oscars 2022 – which honours the best of film – is known for its glitzy red carpet and a televised ceremony bursting with A-listers and high-end fashion looks.

The hotly anticipated event saw a return to the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 27) and was hosted by Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall.

So far, Dune is the big winner of scooping golden gongs for best sound, production design and editing.

Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman and Andrew Garfield are among the UK nominees in the lead acting categories.

A line-up of entertainment saw performances from Beyoncé and Billie Eilish as they performed their nominated songs.
