Caring model Rhian Sugden has revealed she’s become a mental health first aider in a bid to save lives.
The star has completed a rigorous course to be on hand to help people if they break down in public or in the workplace.
The vital training is seen as increasingly important to help people struggling with mental health issues during the pandemic.
She told her fans on Twitter: “As of 11 minutes ago I’m now a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
“Now, more than ever, we need awareness and understanding for people who experience mental health problems.
“I would highly recommend doing a course as a way to gain further knowledge, it might save a life.”
One follower told her: “Congratulations. You are absolutely right you could end up saving a life.”
The model has revealed her own battles following the Vernon Kay sexting fling.
Last year in Channel 4’s Page Three: The Naked Truth, Rhian said TV star Vernon got away with the outrage but it ended her career.
Rhian’s work dried up after the 2010 scandal, while Kay publicly apologised to Strictly host wife Tess Daly.

But Rhian said she was furious the dad-of-two was allowed to front family shows after their sexts were revealed
She said: “He just got away with it. It ruined everything for me.
"I felt like I was going up and up with my career and then that came along. I wish I’d never met him.
“He got to give an apology on the radio and just got to carry on, with Family Fortunes, ironically. It still makes me feel sick.”
