  • Katie Price has come under fire once again as a Change.org petition calling for her to be banned from owning animals has garnered over 26,000 signatures.

This comes following a number of tragic incidents involving her pets over the past six years, including the deaths of dogs, a horse, and even a chameleon.

The petition was initially launched three years ago, and after gaining 10,000 signatures within the first year, it resurfaced again following the death of her Pomeranian Sharon in November.

Critics of the former glamour model allege that her pets have died due to neglect, lack of care, and even being trained to attack.

The update on the petition reads: "A puppy has died in the last 24 hours in Katie Price's care. She bought this puppy for her 13-year-old child three weeks ago, which was killed in an accident no one witnessed… In the last five years more animals have died from lack of care.

“Horses, dogs, cats, lizards, hedgehogs. This isn't a single family tragedy. It's a common thing in Katie Price's home."

The update goes on to describe the neglect seen on Price's show, My Crazy Life, with cat and dog excrement left on the floor and mouldy cat litter.

It also claims that animals have been found drowned in her swimming pool, with some going missing and never seen again.

Sources told The Sun: "It's shocking to see the conditions those poor dogs are living in… After all that's happened with Katie's pets in the past, you'd have thought she would be going above and beyond for her dogs, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

“She might have renovated her home, but the dogs don't appear to be benefiting from it and still live in squalor."

The tragic incidents involving Price's pets einclude her French bulldog Rolo suffocating after getting stuck in an electric armchair in July 2020, and her Alsatian Sparkle being killed on a busy road after escaping from her previous home.

Another one of Price's horses was also killed on the same road in 2017 after escaping from a field.

In 2018, her Alsatian Queenie was struck and killed by a delivery driver.

Price took to Instagram to pay tribute to her one-year-old German Shepherd, saying: "I'm absolutely devastated, heartbroken, my faithful loving family dog's life Queenie has been shortened as she was killed by a heartless delivery driver who ran into our dog seeing her struggle and drove off without telling us and left her to die very disappointed a human being can be this heartless!"

Katie has allegedly been reported to the RSPCA amid accusations that she has been neglecting her chihuahuas.

Daily Star has contacted Katie's representatives for comment.
