Piers Morgan publicly slammed by wife Celia Walden for ripping up a cereal box

Piers Morgan has been shamed by his wife Celia Walden on her Instagram page for mangling a box of cereal.

She took to her social media to post a photo of the Cheerios cereal box which had been ripped up by her husband.

Showing how annoyed she was she said: "Why do men do this?"

Celia often calls her husband out on her social media.

In another previous post she shared a snap of the two when they first met saying: "Seconds after we first met. I remember thinking: ‘Do I really want to have my picture taken with this guy?’ Happy anniversary Mr Morgan."

On another post she posted: “Once every century the perfect couple comes along and redefines the way other couples view love. We are totally not that couple. Happy 10th anniversary, Piers.”

Piers replied: “10yrs ago today… I made an honest woman of Celia. And her lawyers hoped it would never last! Happy Anniversary to my considerably better half.”

Celia has had a very impressive career so far as a journalist, broadcaster as well as a novelist.

She was originally born in Paris but grew up in London where she attended Westminster school and then later went to university at Cambridge.

The 45 year old met Piers, 56 when he was still married to his ex-wife Marion Shalloe.

Piers revealed to Amanda Holden in an interview how he met his wife Celia.

He said: “I was doing a speech in front of 1000 people – magazine editors – in some fancy hotel in Mayfair and I absolutely died on my backside to the extent that they were openly jeering me, and the only person that was laughing was Celia, who I’d never met, and I went 'who’s that?'

"She said 'that just bombed' and I said, 'I thought that was hilarious' but she was laughing really at my discomfort. So I realised then that she would be perfect bride material!"

They got married back in 2010 in Swinbrook, Oxfordshire in a private ceremony on June 24 and just a year later they had their first child together names Elise Pughe-Morgan.

The pair admitted that their daughter Elise has Piers wrapped round her little finger.

In 2018 as she spoke to Good Morning Britain, when asked if she wore the trousers in the relationship Celia said: “Uhh yes, I think so!”

Adding “I think women are always quietly in charge, I just think it’s best to let the men think that they are.”
