Piers Morgan had his birthday cake smashed in his face in a hilarious video filmed at his birthday bash.
The controversial journalist celebrated his 56th birthday today (30th March) and spent the day with his family just weeks after he made his departure from Good Morning Britain.
Piers shared some family snaps on his Instagram page from his garden party.
One snap saw him sat holding a beer while giving the camera a thumbs up.
Another saw Piers with his children in the garden as they waited for their yummy BBQ.
Piers captioned the snaps: "Happy 2nd lockdown Birthday… to me!
"Fabulous cakes from @cakeworx @harpercollinsuk & some delicious alcoholic gifts from @ultimatebozo, @maricor_flor @jamieangelise @bertie_morgan @charlotte___tomlinson & some old @gmb friends – and no need to worry about doing a breakfast show with a hangover!"
He had a cake made to look like cheese and wine and another cake which had the front page of his book Wake Up decorated onto it.
Piers also shared a video thanking his publishers for his cake which was then smashed into his face.
He said: "Just want to thank my publishers at Harper Collins for this amazing birthday cake they sent me."
Piers' birthday post comes after the opinionated presenter sent a sassy message to his haters as he donned a crown on his head.
